Le Petit Golf - Bringing tennis TO kids in schools
Who We Are:
Le Petit Golf, Inc. was formed by the vision of golf trainers and child psychologists to bring golf to young children across the United States and the world. The method is based on the PGA's popular "First Swing" program specially designed for young children. The mission is to bring a mobile, quality instruction method to children in schools. With Le Petit Golf's unique teaching method and special, mobile equipment, we can bring golf to children in their familiar school environment and teach them golf while their parents are at work.
What We Do:
We bring golf to children in their schools. Our mobile equipment transforms playgrounds, basketball courts, activity rooms and other spaces into mini-golf courses in mere minutes. We are also working to establish Saturday programs at selected local clubs to offer more options to our advanced players or for those children not in one of the schools where we teach the program.
What We Have Done:
During our first year of operation, we have made impressive progress, with thousands of children participating in our demo days and in-school programs. We look to introduce golf to over 35,000 children with our free demonstration days in 2004.
Where We Go From Here:
Our plan to expand involves working with Golf Clubs and Pros throughout the US and Canada this coming year to spread the in-school program while maintaining our quality product. In addition to our company owned units, our licensing program will be especially interesting and important to golf clubs and individuals as we will help them to generate more revenue for themselves and their coaches, expand their potential member base and identify young, talented players.
